The average person now eats out 3 times a week, and having a blow out 3 times a week can really have an affect on your results.
I think when you have a meal out you still need to enjoy yourself however the best way to do that without ruining your diet is to have a main course and then limit yourself to either a starter, desert or alcohol. Pick one, not all 3 and you should be able to enjoy your meal out without going overboard on calories.
