I heard about Chris through a friend who was training with him a few days a week. He sung Chris’ praises and I eventually decided that the only way I was going to get myself into gym was to have someone telling me what to do. I figured since my friend spoke so highly of Chris I’d give it a go. Before starting with Chris I’d tried with a few different personal trainers but I hadn’t enjoyed my experiences with them. I had also attempted (and failed miserably) at just going to the gym myself and trying to follow the training plans the staff would give me. I found that I had no motivation and started to dread going to the gym and eventually I became one of the many that simply paid for a gym membership that I never used. 


Since training with Chris I can honestly say its something that I wouldn’t want to go without now. I feel like I have far more energy and for the first time I actually don’t dread going to the gym. I’ve really enjoyed my sessions and I have slowly increased them up to 3 days a week. I certainly feel far better within myself and a lot more motivated. Chris has introduced some fun new training activities like boxing that keep the sessions interesting and not repetitive. 

I’ve always been a foodie and a rather unhealthy one at that. Chris has really encouraged me to make small healthier swaps which combined with the regular training has helped me lose just over a stone in time for my wedding. I was really happy with the weight loss as I’ve literally tried every diet under the sun and its never been sustainable. 

Chris has been brilliant at pushing me forwards in training sessions without it feeling like its “too much” or “too hard”. He’s slowly pushed me on to being able to do harder exercises and higher weights without me really noticing. He’s been a constant source of encouragement both inside the gym and out. He regularly keeps in contact on days I’m not training to help keep up my motivation and keep me focused. I would (and have) recommended CD Fitness to anyone and everyone. Its the first time I’ve ever actually enjoyed going to the gym and I feel so much better for doing it. I can’t thank the team at CD fitness enough for the continued support and motivation to keep going. Now the weddings over I am now looking forward to progressing even further on my fitness journey.
